Results from Our July 11th Tournament

The first Dodgeball Inferno Tournament of Champions was here and it was awesome!

Congratulations to THE J.V. for beating THE YORKVILLIANS in a stunning upset!!! Mark Gelberg (pictured below in the blue shirt) was named The Al Hecht Memorial MVP and Elpida Halaris, of The Yorkvillians, gets a special mention.










The Yorkvillians continued their regular season dominance winning the first of the best of three Championship rounds with professional efficiency. They seemed to be heading toward Dodgeball immortality when Mark of The JV, alone, outnumbered, and possibly about to cry, stepped up and ripped it up. Catching, throwing and of course, dodging, Mark brought The J.V. back and forced a third and decisive round. It was close but in the end, the Cinderella story continued and the J.V. were victorious.
